wondering if NVAC is still needed/compatible with ttw 3.3.2,
ive seen conflicting reports that's it still is useful for correcting crashing yet other have stated its broken and no longer compatible with new vegas or ttw since newer updates and plugin releases.
So use or dont use?

Re: TTW 3.3.2 NVAC Still needed?
I've had NVAC and NVTF installed for a while and I've yet to see a crash that wasn't my fault.
Those people might have NVSR installed, which is completely broken on Windows 10 and will cause crashes, even if you have NVAC.
Heck, it might crash more with NVSR and NVAC installed together.

Re: TTW 3.3.2 NVAC Still needed?
I'm still using NVAC, although it's not mentioned in the TTW Essential Mods.
The only crashes I had so far, were caused by NVTF greater 9.9.1. The mod creator and I figured out the reason - large texture packs combined with incompatible settings in NVTF. The important bits were to set the following parameters:
The 9.9.8beta was causing deadlocks, which are supposed to be fixed in 9.9.8beta2. I switched back to 9.9.7, because that was running just fine for me.
And like XanthosGambit said - do NOT use NVSR. It actually causes stutter and crashes, as per my experience. Use NVTF instead.

Code: Select all
bModifyDirectXBehavior = 1
bUseDefaultPoolForTextures = 1
