Fallout 3 required after install?

Didn't see this in the FAQ so i'll ask here. After installing and setting up TTW do you have to keep fallout 3 installed or is everything needed now contained in the New Vegas directory? Just wondering if i wanted to free up some space is all. Thanks.

You'll need it for updates.

And sometimes the urge to play pure f3 after ttw sessions will be ovewhelming. Id say leave it.
