Now for anyone who doesn't have proper modding experience and here like me probably didn't have the time to kind of learn it because this stuff it takes time I mean when I think about how I learned to use mod organizer it took me 11 to 12 hours I wished it my whole Easter just learning and instructing myself how to properly learn my organizer hahaha.
But I find myself wanting to have more small talk with the community members here I want to build some Goodwill me and Roy are kind of you know put our heads together and kind of went at it but I understand him.
He's like he works hard he makes all kinds of mods because he has years of experience that he has accumulated through trial and error to practice and through working hard. Some person who just comes to him and be like hey can you make this for me or change this and it just kind of pisses him off a bit I know I pissed him off sometimes and I have tried to apologize but you know.
I want to open the discussion how do you all like to play your Tale of two wastelands.
One thing I've noticed is for a lot of people who want a level of immersion everything should be accessible or makeable in the game for instance if you have a lot of modded weapons and a lot of modded armor sets and whatnot don't you just hate that you basically have to play the whole DC area to get to New Vegas to get all that stuff that spawns and good springs or doc Mitchell's house.
Sometimes I burn a good one or two hours just you know making recipes for those modded items so I can craft them in the game I get a cool looking badass power armor I'm like okay well I can probably make a recipe that I can convert a regular to the power armor with a lot of extra scrap metal and tools to make this unique power armor I will actually spend a good two hours just making recipes so I can craft armor in the game.
And I found that I really like using xedit to craft my modded armor and weapons in the game okay so this latest playthrough I added a whole bunch of modded weapons and armor.
What I did was I went Xedit and I made a recipe for them and I connected it to the workbench I called them the megatons gift set.
I had an armor of sword a gun some supplies some unique gear and I put every mpc's name and I put GIF next to their name cuz it's like for role-play immersion after I saved megaton they all presented me with plans to make a unique item and it really make kind of you know saving megaton all the more worth it I mean normally if you do a good deed in our world and you get a free house that's like more than enough hahaha but I kind of want it a little bit more extra incentive.
And it just blew my mind making a recipe for every unique weapon and armor you add to the game with a mod craftable and it just blew my mind how more modders aren't kind of like okay I spent probably 3 hours making this mod and uploading it to the Nexus and I'll just drop it into the world you know and I'll make sure it has attachments I'm not hating on any character that doesn't be like putting an extra hour to kind of make it into a recipe that you can craft because either unique weapons you know that you just find lying around they shouldn't be craftable but I kind of love crafting and customizing in fall out.
Hey I'm kind of sorry everybody this message got really long I just really wanted to open up to all of you please if anybody takes the time to read all of this please post and and comment I really want to know how you all like to play your game do you like to play a gun Bill do you like to play pure energy weapons or hey maybe you're like me maybe you're running like a samurai build.
Just share with me you know I feel we don't really share how we like to play the game we just kind of share on here the problems and the might requests but you know I really like to get a conversation going because I can't go to the discord chat and just chat with all y'all casually anymore
