in the newest update dogmeat no longer can hold items..i mean it makes sense hes a dog but also ...hes companion perk was removed...will a replacement one be added in the future??

His companion perk was broken. A fix that was made for it in a previous version was lost during the development of 3.3.

This was fixed in the latest version 3.3.1. You can get the hotfix on the TTW download page.
