I am playing the game in Hardcore mode with no mods other than the ones in Qolore's guide. In the current version of TTW, when I activate the Purifier at the end of the main quest and the endings play out, my character wakes up after two weeks and then immediately dies. After activating god mode at the point my character wakes up, I noticed that I have Fatal Dehydration and Fatal Starvation. The same thing happens when I board the riverboat to start the Point Lookout questline, where upon arrival my character immediately dies again due to fatal dehydration and starvation. It appears that Hardcore mode has not been properly accounted for in the newest version of TTW. I'm not sure if this also happens with other DLCs. Will this issue be fixed in a future TTW update? What can I do in the meantime to get around this issue?

The solution is a few threads below yours. But I'll answer it anyway so you don't have to go digging around.

It's caused by the new version of JIP LN plugin. Since it fixes a bug in FNV with needs not being affected by the skipping of time in Hardcore. Unfortunately, this fix will kill the player in several places on TTW/FNV :lol: .

So yeah, downgrade JIP LN plugin or disable Hardcore Mode when starting the DLCs for now. :P

I've let him know, and my temp fix didn't work. I've asked for an optional argument on SetGameHour to ignore hardcore needs tracking
