Law bringer Perk bugged?
So I wanted to know if this was a mod change, or if this was a bug but. Upon taking the Law Bringer perk I've quickly realized some characters who aren't "Evil" when it comes to game stats give fingers all the same, and I wanted to confirm if this was a known bug or not. if anyone has any info thank you.

Re: Law bringer Perk bugged?
I don't kill everyone, so I wouldn't know if most "good" people don't drop fingers, but I've yet to see any on random wastelanders and such. It's possible that a mod could result in this. You might want to make a note of which characters drop fingers that seem like they shouldn't, then report them here. A quick check in FNVEdit for those characters would show if this was related to TTW or not. If you know how to use FNVEdit, you can check this yourself. Fingers are part of the death item list for NPCs when the perk is active, but only for evil characters. Good characters drop ears on death for evil players with the contract killer perk.

Re: Law bringer Perk bugged?
I use law bringer by default because. But i never notice any strange good corpse has finger. During my 2 vanilla runs.
The single sole exception come from me player.placeatme various id of regulators in my 3rd messed up run. And i cant even say for certain its a ttw bug because i install quite a number of mods related to talon, regulators and stuff. God know which mod change what template.
Base on my exp, i'd say its morelikely a your problem rather than ttw.

I used FNV Edit but I've long forgotten much about it, How exactly would I locate the Finger item in FNV Edit?jlf65 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 3:16 pmI don't kill everyone, so I wouldn't know if most "good" people don't drop fingers, but I've yet to see any on random wastelanders and such. Re: Law bringer Perk bugged?
UPDATE, While Unfound Loot was related to the Finger item, NOTHING Is messing with the law bringer perk
I've removed unfound but nothing changes, even in a new game, I have no clue whats going on, everyone I kill drops fingers and I don't understand why.
This has to be a bug with TTW because nothing is doing anything to finger or the perk now.

Re: Law bringer Perk bugged?
It's unlikely that this is a TTW bug, because in the 3 and a half years since TTW 3.2.2 has been released no one else reported/had this problem.Clanker707 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 12:18 amThis has to be a bug with TTW because nothing is doing anything to finger or the perk now.
But I never say "no" to bug reports.
Unfortunately, I don't have TTW 3.2.2 installed since we've been testing 3.3 for quite some time now, so I can't just go ingame and check for myself. But like jlf65 said before, taking note of what NPCs are dropping fingers when they shouldn't, would be a big help to find the problem.
Another thing to also take notice of is if any of those NPCs had their karma level changed to evil by TTW or any other mod.
