Fallout New Vegas still unsupported.

I have: a freshly installed, unmodded, english steam version of fallout new vegas. It tells me it isnt supported. i tried to clear the cache, didnt helped. steam is allways telling me, one file is validaqted and will be reaquired. i allready searched for a solution in every single thread that theire currently is and tried the solutions. so i would really apriciate some fresh ideas.

Did you launch the game at least once? Bethesda games don't do all their setup until you launch the game, then they'll do things like set registry entries and create ini files needed by the installer.

Yes, as i said everything that was allready written in a thread i have allready done.

Well, I've been digging as I'm now getting the same issue. It seems that the installer fails because there was a new version released through steam. Something on reddit says there's a fix somewhere in a discord server so I'm going to try to track that down, but who the hell knows.

Its Fallout 3, not New Vegas. There is a downgrader for this but you won't need it any longer very soon.
