cant do anything about rad roaches falling into rubble piles unfortunately

That's a problem even in Fallout 4. There's a messenger's body you're supposed to find near a bridge that nearly always falls through the road to the main ground beneath it. Nobody could figure out how to prevent that, so I just moved the body a few yards to the side where there was no road to fall through. Problem solved! 8-)

So, maybe the way to "fix" the radroach is to just move its spawn point away from the rubble pile. Even if that doesn't make it into 3.3 (or the immediate update), it could easily be done in a patch.
