Would anyone know why the TTW installer doesn't agree with my legitimate FO3 install?
According to search results, this can be caused by having the German version of FO3, but to my knowledge, I have the standard English version. Downloaded in Australia.
Just now I recalled that my FO3 was patched with the LAA enabler. I restored the backup.exe and the installation proceeded, then stopped shortly after with the following message:
Error reading "H\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\Fallout - Textures.bsa\textures\architecture\hosptiallight\thumbs.db" File not found in archive"
I am at a loss. Any help is appreciated.
Edit:
Apparently, something must have modified the file somewhere along the line. Though I do not have memory of such a thing happening. I just renamed my install folder and re-downloaded the game again and it appears to be working now. Sorry for the hassle.
