Unkillable talon following me like he's a companion

No matter what I do, he just won't leave me alone. I've tried everything.

Talking to him (he just gets hostile)
Companion dismissal console
Console commands (setesssential, disable and companion commands did NOTHING)

He's an absolute anomaly, please help!

Found a workaround, I remembered that activating hardcore makes it possible for companions to die. So I did and it worked, was finally able to kill him.
So if you have a companion you don't want and there are no other means of removing them, go hardcore

You may have found a "workaround" for this instance but that doesn't mean you aren't going to have issues in the future. Laclongquan is correct, it's a load order issue. For future reference, when asking for help, we need a load order. If we don't know what mods your using, we can't tell you which one is breaking your game.
