Weird error after installing

Hi guys, not sure if anyone else had this issue. I just recently built a new computer and got everything setup, made sure i double checked my ini files, etc for each game.

herein lies my issue for TTW...
i ran the bat version of the installer and everything went fine, the game lauched, etc, great! however, once in game and i start playing, i noticed that the names of interactables (npcs, items, etc), even my quest objectives that pop up on the left of the screen, all appear as dots. even my reticle is a dot!

I also took a peek at console to see if anything was popping up, and there were some strange lines of text i've not seen before, some about meshes, and terrain rendering while in Doc Mitchell's house, and in the DC start vault room as a baby.

I have no idea how to fix it, my mod list is extremely short (was installed with vortex, i used fomm in the past), and i made sure to double-check that everything was up to date, and that the load order was correct.

Not sure if this bit helps, but when I ran the installer, I did have it send the installation files directly into my new vegas directory. I think the only thing I had done outside of the norm, though i had no issue with in the past, was using the games for windows live disabler before running the ttw converter and updates.

Any advice? do i need to start from scratch?

It looks like a UI texture issue. Using and UI/HUD mods, or icon/interface texture replacers?

after testing today, i discovered the culprit of the strange dots. it was one of the Grenade Hotkey mods.
this was discovered when i was doing the steps of half-loading my mod list and working my way down through my (albeit short) list. the problem regarding the dots went away when i tried a different mod author's grenade hotkey mod.

however, i still get strange output in console, i suspect has to do with the smoke-able cigarettes mod. i will have to look into that to be sure.

[note]: if a moderator wants to delete my post, that is totally cool, if not, maybe the warning about the mod issue could stay public for others.

That console print thing, I think is a NVSE thing, that Stewie will be making a fix for in his tweaks mod in the next version.

That's great to hear, I'm a huge fan of Stewie's plugin, lots of nice options to fine-tune the game. Didn't realize that was what could be giving me a ton of console output.
