Raiders with wrong ammo types

On my current playthrough, all raider encounters involving NPCs that use combat shotguns are spawning with the wrong ammo type (12 gauge instead of 20) forcing them to run around unarmed.

In an old playthrough last week, raiders would spawn with the wrong varmit rifle ammo type instead but is no longer an issue in my current one.
Could this be a potential bug, sawyerbatty issue, or mod incompatibility?

Found the issue "Realistic TTW and NV Rebalance"

Mod converts some weapons to different use different ammo types, changes combat shotgun to 20 gauge but still will spawn on npcs, containers with 12 gauge etc

Mods for TTW 2.x do not work with 3.x
