How to Mod Tale of Two Wastelands

Hey guys, reading up on Tale of Two Wastelands since I was interested in starting it up, but I'm trying to firgure out mods before I delve in.

If you want to mod the game after the two are merged, do you essentially just download mods for New Vegas since the installation merges Fallout 3 into New Vegas? In other words, can I just download mods in Nexus Mod Manager for New Vegas and they'll pop up in Tale of Two Wastelands? Thanks!

First, don't use Nexus Mod Manager. There are reasons it's been abandoned and really shouldn't be used.

Most FNV mods work out of the box with TTW but there are some exceptions. Some have patches and others just aren't worth the effort. Make yourself familiar with the FAQ and the incompatible mods list (viewtopic.php?f=50&t=6878) before starting to mod TTW. The recommended mods page (viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6941) and the mod release forums (viewforum.php?f=55) are the place to start modding TTW.

Since TTW is an FNV mod that is adding FO3 into FNV you want to stick with FNV mods. Anything off the FO3 nexus, with some texture replacers being the exception, will need to be converted to work with TTW.

TTW is a total conversion, it is not an NV mod and has not been since 3.x was released.

There is no guarantee any NV mod will work other than the ones in our recommended list.

If you want to use a bunch of mods, don't use TTW.
