custom race compatibility patch

Figure it needs to be discussed and remade because there are a couple locations where it makes problems in game. Tranquility lane is one. The other is the quest where you follow the giant robot to crush the enclave. The giant robot goes stupid and refuses to finish the job if you play as a custom race. Rather erksome. So hope that people can figure that all out and supply a propper patch for it.

I already fixed the end sequence to work. I'll have a look at tranquility lane and see if we can include it in vanilla. But no guarantees.

Liberty Prime screws up if you use mods that alter the AI behavior, such as Project Nevada rebalance, which is why it's in the incompatible list. That causes other bugs too with Dead Money.

Tranquility Lane will work perfectly fine as long as your custom race has a properly linked child race (custom race must have a specific child race, and that child race must have the custom race as adult race).

Otherwise I assume a failsafe must be scripted in to just avoid reverting the player to a child if the race doesn't have one set up.

I did not know you worked on that aspect of the game to make it compatible. I am just recently returning to the fallout franchise. Is there any plans to get project nevada rebalanced compatible? Any how i may be a few updates behind everyone right now. So im going to take a look see. Also i use ares project as my custom race. Not sure if it is rigged to a child or not. But i use to use the tranquility lane patch to get it to work with ttw. Any how i am not sure if it affects the big robot or not. I was not aware of the project nevada issue. That is news to me. Any ways thanks for the heads up. Last time i played ttw was prior to that of fallout 4s release. I am sure there are many changes i am unaware of.

No to Project Nevada. That mod is out of date and has been replaced by standalone versions that are better in most cases anyway.
Produces the programming equivalent of coffee stains.

Im not making anything compatible, TTW is a total conversion, so mods need to be made compatible with it, not the other way round.
