Reinstalation issues
when i wanted to reinstall fallout new vegas on steam, steam installed all TTW files as well meaning I am unable to install a untouched copy of fallout new vegas. does anyone have a solution?

one more thing since it uncompressed files its causing issues with mods that i want to use on normal new vegas after i uninstalled the ttw files

Are you saying steam is downloading TTW?
Turn off cloud for New Vegas, then delete manually the new vegas folder (not the one in my documents, the one in steamapps/common)

If you used a mod manager to install TTW, make sure you uninstall it using that mod manager first too.

Yeah, Steam doesn't have the TTW files. Only thing I can think about is mod manager install or not deleting the FNV game folder (if installed directly into the game folder).
I guess in last resort, one could search their computer for taleoftwowastelands.esm and see if they can find that file. If they can, then they need to see where the file is and delete it and any other TTW related file in the same directory.
