Re: is Rust Rot Broken???
Use reloading workbench to make poisoned darts from those poisons, yo~ And need a dart gun (find schematic).
use it directly from aid tab is like poison yourself~
Those poisoned darts are the only safe method to deal damage to super armored targets
EDIT: speaking of safe, because I dont know if the patch, or the process, but Mother Darkness and Tremble, vanilla Mojave poison, become unstable. If equip a knife and use aid--> poison, dark datura and bleak venom work fine but the above two? Nope, damage user.
IF instead equip War club? Dark Datura damage user too.
So yeah, dart is the safest way to poison targets. Using melee? or thrown? you have to test for yourself which work for you, and on what.

Re: is Rust Rot Broken???
Incidentally.
FNV poisons are applied by equip melee/thrown weapon, then use Poison in Aid tab to coat it for one strike.
TTW introduce another way by having poisons applied on darts, by use reloading bench to create poisoned darts. Need dart guns to shoot.
DLC stash give some bleak venoms can be used to create poisoned darts which is more economical than coat melee/thrown. So I suspect FNV poisons can be used to create poisoned darts as well. It's just impossible to have them in CW.
---------
As an aside, poisons work finicky in vanilla FNV, thus translated into TTW. ESPECIALLY if you use weapons unique to a DLC, say war club. But knife spear work well with cloud poisons though. And sometimes they dont work on unarmed weapons despite saying otherwise on wiki.
Finicky~

Re: is Rust Rot Broken???
AAAAAANYWAY
I will note that poison, as apply on melee weapon, has a time duration. As if after a while that weapon lose its poison effect.
What does it mean? IT mean you need to apply poison to a target as fast as you can. Because poison ignore DT/DR, I think.
Like Toy Knife, or Chance's Knife, for example.
equip knife, Aid/Use poison, Preferably Deathclaw Poison or then go to town.
Also the only reason we would use Back Slash special attack on some weapons. because while its damage cant be compared to normal attack's, if getting strong poisons into play, it shine.
--------
Unarmed weapons are losing in this aspect, as a sign of misdesigns. Realistically, unarmed weapons should have highest speed, lowest AP cost~ because its range is shortest, after all.

Re: is Rust Rot Broken???
From my experience (Sierra Madre fighting ghosts with knife spear clean and cosmic knife) poison bonus duration on weapon is too gddmn short. I think, 10 second max. You might have enough time to attack two target. MIGHT.
If you guys havent finalized 3.3, I would suggest raise poison duration to 60 second and start being affected by survival skill. Duration on weapon only, not duration of poisoning effect on target.

Re: is Rust Rot Broken???
Can you explain why Rust Rot seems to apply the poison to you instead of the weapon?

Re: is Rust Rot Broken???
The flags on the effects are wrong, we use a different system entirely now.
