Now, I understand that the full PN isn't compatible, but I've also been led to believe there is at least parts of it I can use. The speed of movement feels downright Sonic the Hedgehog since I don't have it installed. And I can't seem to find any patches at all on the forums, but see that people have them as part of their load orders in other posts...so anyway...
1. How do I get the patches for PN and what parts can I and can't I use? I'd like the Cyberware, and I'd definitely like the movement changes.
2. If not, is there a compatible mod that will change the movement to more closely match that of Project Nevada? I really like the slightly slower movement that makes it feel like my journeys take a little longer than they actually do.
3. I also know changing timescale messes up TTW...but I wanted to ask, is there a way to change it? If I do change it to make the days longer, what kind of problems am I going to see? Moira only opening at night being the worst or...entire quests not working or what?
4. And I guess I'm having a really hard time getting oHud or iHud with aHud working. If I turn them on, either part of the hud is always on (the needs and stuff on the right) and the rest NEVER comes on no matter how I have it set, or nothing shows up ever. Including messages when I receive an item from a happy megaton settler and stuff. Just nothing EVER shows. And that's fine most of the time, but I can't turn it on ever, including the crosshairs. Which makes using non-ADS guns really hard to use, like laser pistols.
5. Also, it talks about not using animation mods. I'm assuming that includes Enhanced Camera where you can see yourself in 1st person if you look down...if that's not the case I'd love to know.
I appreciate any help with these, just trying to get the best playthrough I possibly can.

3 - in console type "set TimeScale to 10" is what I regularly do. I've never noticed an issue, but it's VERY mod dependent. Mods that properly handle the timescale work, and ones that don't, don't in weird ways. For example, I've got a mod that allows you to tune the radios and jukeboxes. When you do that, the radios cut off when you leave and come back, but only after a certain amount of time. My mod needs to check if enough time has passed, and if so reinitialize the radio. Before I took the timescale into account, it didn't work depending on the timescale and how long you were away, and you'd have to turn off and on the radio. Once I properly added in the timescale to checking the time, it works properly (tested with a timescale of 2 to 30). So mods that use the time but don't use the timescale will only work the way they're intended if the timescale is left at the default. Once you start changing the timescale, it will start to do "stuff" at the wrong time, which may be innocuous, or it may be catastrophic depending on what it does. In the case on my mod, nothing happened, but you had to turn the radio off and on to get it playing again. Nothing serious, just irritating. That's how other mods may be... or maybe they'll crash the game. Like I said, it's VERY mod dependent.
5 - Enhanced Camera is fine. Just be sure to set the option in Stewie's Tweaks to fix the sink into the ground bug in the engine associated with it.

Thank you! Guess I'll just make a hard save and see if it breaks anything changing the timescale.

With the exception of the actual equipment additions this combination of mods can give you most of the features of PNV that really added to the gameplay (and, yes, they all work in TTW):
Project Nevada - Enhanced Vision
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68781
Project Nevada - Immersive Primary Needs (only works in Hardcore)
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68720
Cyberware 2281
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68718
Just Mods Assorted
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66666
Hope that helps.
PS: Remember to install the requirements for these mods (comment for the new peoples, I know all the geezers of TTW know this already)
