TTW Timescale
I was unaware you could not change timescale in ttw without breaking things. I have have a save with about 20 hours and haven't encountered any noticeable issues, would it be safe to just change the timescale back to default or would I have to make a new character without things breaking eventually?

It should be fine, and it breaks vanilla NV too. Many things in the game are tied to the timescale. You might find AI packages acting weird though and not being performed at the correct time of day and other strange things.
