No, you may not translate the ESMs directly.
You may make esp translations, but you must not use the java tool to do so, it will revert fixes/changes that TTW has made and make the game unstable or broken. You must take the time to do a proper translation and do it by hand.

I did not understand all of it, but ESP-ESM Translator is the best tool for translating. It can also be used to translate .esm files directly. Works great.Mishobu wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 7:53 amIs this guide appropiate to do the translations?

I was trying to follow the guide doing my best to understand what he said, but to no effort, when I get to the part of sorting masters the FNVEdit runs out of memory, and even when it didnt it ended running out of memory when converting using the script. And using the ESM-ESP translator takes WAY too long because not everything translates automatically.

In the ESP-ESM Translator, go to the top Translation tab and select 'Load an already translated mod' and select the esm files from your version of Fallout 3. This should give almost every line a translation that you need to confirm.

Yeah I did that, it makes everything a lot easier... The only problem is... Checking the translations... Its a fcking mess, the spanish translation is just garbage, most of the capital letters are lower case, the dialog is a bunch of nonsense...Raubkopiesäbel wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 5:56 pmIn the ESP-ESM Translator, go to the top Translation tab and select 'Load an already translated mod' and select the esm files from your version of Fallout 3. I am taking now the task of translating ALL of Fallout 3/NV to Latam Spanish and getting to be the most neutral possible, will take a lot of time, but I am sure it will be worth it.
Thanks for replying man
