Do these Device folders appearing throughout my mod project...
Do these Device folders appearing throughout my mod project (in textures folder and subfolders) have anything to do with TTW and/or MO2 and/or the GECK?

Re: Do these Device folders appearing throughout my mod project...
In the textures folder I get a folder named Device. In it there is a file with no extension called DfsClient.
I also have a custom folder in the textures folder and in it a few subfolders of my added textures, and in about half those folders there is a Device folder. and these Device folders also contain a folder called Afd with an extensionless file called Endpoint.
It doesn't seem to be happening with any other mods in MO2. It is also occurring on my main gamefile data folder (in opposed to the MO2 mods folder) in it's texture folder. I've deleted them and they just come back.

No such things here, I suggest you download malwarebytes and scan your computer, sounds like you've been owned.

I hope not. Was conjecturing it had something to do with this being windows 7 and the Intelligence Security Updates. We'll see.

No, I use W7 and don't have that. You might google the folder and file names and see if anyone else has reported this and if someone figured out what does it.

Just ran malwarebytes. Found four PUPs. I quarantined them. Deleted the Device folders and restarted. Will update if they return.

No need to update. It wasn't anything here that caused those folders to show up, it was just some crap you picked up somewhere.

Just weird that it was specific to my mods textures.

I use windows 7 as well, definitely not from an update.
