W10 users should disable 'game mode' and 'variable refresh rate'.

I use windows 10 and having enabled them both caused insta CTDs for me.

If you use w10 and play TTW in a fullscreen mode, (not in a (borderless) windowed mode) disable fullscreen optimization too.

enabling the fullscreen optimization with fullscreen nv makes the game unstable.
