Steam version of fallout 3 goty unsupported?
I'm new to this so please bare with me, but i thought that steam versions of goty is supported, as shown by the installation video. How/why is it saying that it is unsupported on my end?

I meant to include that it is the english version. I bought new vegas ultimate edition and fallout 3 goty during the steam sale event. Am I doing something wrong? Or is the ttw only for a set version of fallout 3 goty?

All official english versions of the games are supported (if patched to the latest version).
I just woke up and am quite sick at the moment so I can't really think of why it wouldn't work... Because TTW works out of the box with the Steam english version of the games.

Thank you for the fast reply, and I hope you get to feeling better. The steam version is 1.1.12.0. I found an update on Bethesda for an update 1.7. Is that the update needed for ttw to work? Steam isn't updating anything and I have no problem manually doing anything if it means things will work right.

Nevermind, the game launcher is 1.1.12.0. The game exe is now updated right. But it's still registering as the game version is not supported. If I knew how to post a screenshot of the problem, I would.

If you are in Germany get a refund and buy them on GoG instead.

Similar issue. English version of fallout 3 goty from steam. Installer just says installed version of fallout 3 is unsupported. Tried verifying the game files, tried a different region version of the TTW installer. Running out of ideas here.

Your issue is different than the one in the thread you replied to. Your issue is caused by the recent FO3 update on Steam. You can find more information here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9226&p=73186#p73186
