From what I understand some drivers are still loaded in normal mode so you can't delete them properly, I could be wrong tho. DDU page recommends using it in safe mode. DDU Link

It's possible it might be a NEW driver issue. Sometimes you have to roll back a video driver to fix issues until they fix the new bug introduced in a new release... sometimes they never do and you have to stick with old drivers for certain games.
