Tranquility lane crash

i keep crashing after the loading screen for tranquility lane,and i am not using any mods, i also cant find chucksteels ttw_speedtreefix because the google drive link is dead, any way to stop the crashing?

Make sure you've installed both updates. IIRC, one of them fixed the TL issue.

And all TTW 2.9.x mods are restricted as nearly all don't work in TTW 3.x.

its kinda bs that i have to install 2 seperate things because the fix wasnt already included in the base installer

That's how updates work... Unless you prefer to not have a fix available until the next TTW version is released... Which might still take a while.

Making the installer is a lot of work and takes a lot of time, if we don't release the updates, people will have super buggy games for an year or more until there is enough things to make a new version of TTW. But we don't want that to happen, so we have to release updates.

I have the same problem with Tranquility lane, I get halfway into the transfer then ctd. I have no mods other than ttw 3.2.2. It's been frustrating in that one TTW page here says that roy fixed it but there is no real reference to what the fix was. Through some guess work and a tiny bit of deduction I guess it is the YUPttw.esm.? Which is last in my load order. Other than that all other research was a lot of reading only to find hidden solution.
Finding one local place to find the latest info is a real challenge. That said I DO understand this is a labor of love.

I sure would love to get though this Tranquility lane, that is still bugging us players. With current thoughts maybe. TC LLAP ^^

When you say "no other mods than ttw 3.2.2", I certainly hope you meant 3.2.1 and 3.2.2. You need BOTH updates, not just the last one. If you look in the TTW folder, you should see "TaleOfTwoWastelands - z321.bsa" and "TaleOfTwoWastelands - z321.override" files. If you don't, you need to install 3.2.1.

Also, if you haven't installed NVAC, do so immediately. NV is prone to crashes without NVAC, even with bug-free mods, never mind something as buggy as FO3.

Yes I do have 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 combined. TTW is not crashing other than this Tranquility lane. A solution to the OP query would be GREAT!
Is the YUPttw.esm the fix mentioned. I have it and it's not helping this issue for me. those 2018 "Solved" should work for us or was it incorporated into 3.2.2 or.........? Fear we have reached a dead end.

Crashes in Tranquility Lane usually are caused by custom races mods, pipboy replacer mods or specific computer hardware (some AMD hardware causes the crash).

The fix you mention might have been Chucksteel's hardware fix. It will only work if you have AMD hardware and only if that is the cause of the crash.

I will see if I can find that fix somewhere. Unfortunately, it seems that the site change couldn't transfer some files and links from the previous site.
