Hi. I've tried a dozen times installing and uninstalling fresh copies of Fallout 3 and FNV, and several ways to get the TTW installer but nothing works.
I have installed, using Steam, the original F3 and FNV to G:\FalloutSpecial, and created a directory named FalloutTTWInstalled. Everything looks like it's installed and both games run just fine out of this directory.
I went to the files at download_ttw and used the 3.2 installer to install to G:\FalloutTTWInstalled. Then I applied the 3.2.1 updater and the 3.2.2 updater to the same G:\FalloutTTWInstalled. I installed the JIP LN NVSE Plugin as well.
Then, in MO2, I tell it to run from G:\FalloutTTWInstalled.
Nothing works. I may need help with MO2, I may need help with something else, but I'm at wit's end, and I want this to work so badly I will PAY YOU to spend an hour with me if you have experience and can tell me what to do. I'll give $10 up front and $15 on completion. I just want it to work and after trying for a week I want to destroy it like a Supermutant. Help!

For more info: Have check with Malwarebytes, McAfee, and Autoruns, nothing infected.
Have full paid for versions of FNV and F3GOTY. Got it running a few times by installing straight to the New Vegas folder but I don't want that, I want to be able to create multiple instances and play with multiple mods.
System is
Windows 10 Pro, version 1903, 64-bit
Intel Core i7-6700k at 4.00 ghz (not overclocked)
16 gig RAM
256gig DDR boot drive with Steam installed as c:
Seagate 3tb drive, Fallout 3 and NV installed, on G: drive
Note that both F3 and NV run flawlessly off this, and I got TTW working when I installed it into the Fallout NV directory just fine. But whenever I try to run a new instance or even set one up I fail.
I'm pretty advanced technically but have a day job and a family and only so many hours to keep installing. I need someone to help me figure this out and will pay for your time I want this game!

Re: Will paypal $25 to anyone who will get it working
Hang onto your money, folks here will help as they get time. Everyone is busy these days.
I'll assume you mean FONV Ultimate Edition as all the DLCs are needed. Install TTW into it's own directory - I made one in a temp drawer, doesn't matter where. After doing the install and updates, ARCHIVE that directory as zip or 7zip. You can then delete that temporary directory.
I'll assume you have plain FONV running in MO2. Make a new profile for TTW. Copy the ini files that the installer made (they should be in the FONV folder in your docs games folder for Windows) into the new profile. Use the normal mod install to install that archive you made of the TTW install directory. Make sure all the esms are enabled and sorted into the order shown in the FAQ. You should update JIPLN - either copy it directly into the NVSE folder in the TTW folder in the mods folder of MO2, or install it like a normal mod and make sure it has priority over the TTW mod install (lower in the load order list). Install NVAC like a normal mod. Since you run Windows 10, do NOT install NVSR - use NVTF (tick fix) instead. Once you've got all that, set the MO2 game run to Tale of Two Wastelands and see if it works. If not, set it to NVSE and launch the NVSE directly (I have to do that on my setup for some reason - the special TTW launching doesn't work for me, but it might for you, so try it first). This should allow you to run TTW. You should get a notice asking if you want to start in DC or the Mojave. If not, something wasn't installed right. Make sure all the TTW esms are enabled, the ini files in the profile folder match what's shown in the FAQ, JIPLN is updated, NVAC is installed, and NVTF is installed.
That should be enough for now. When you've tried that and either succeeded of failed, we can cover more. If you succeed, then you're ready to add mods. If not, well, you shouldn't have installed much to look over. The biggest problem a lot of folks have is they assume that since they've gotten FO3 and FONV to run with over 100 mods, they can instantly setup TTW with a 100 mods and not have a problem. Get the base game installed and verified working, THEN add mods. That doesn't sound like your issue here. Probably just need some tips in how to install TTW in MO2, which I cover above.

Hey thanks a lot man. A guy named burner9875 came to my rescue--and even then it took us a lot of effort! Apparently the game does run better if you move everything to an external drive (I used G:) but you have so many more opportunities to break things if you do that. We got 'er going. Thanks. Mods can remove this thread!

It would be more helpful to others if you explained how you solved your problems so that if anyone has a similar issue, they might benefit from your experience. Not saying you HAVE to, but it would be nice, thanks.

Re: Will paypal $25 to anyone who will get it working
I'm having enough trouble I'm in the "Willing to Pay Someone" boat as well. I've NEVER bounced off something like the current TTW- got 2.9.4 working great and spent probably thousands of hours with it. I'm having an issue where I CAN'T get rid of the Read Only Tag- just keeps coming back and I'm thinking that could be the cause of a lot of my troubles. I'm on attempt 7 now- I can get it to start using FOMM but then I don't get an option to start in NV or CW. There is some fundamental issue going on here with my system or myself that I am just STUCK on this. I'd like to see if the Read Only thing is the main thing screwing up everything else because the thought of trying this 8 more times is quite frankly highly depressing. I mean when I do the MO2 install- after it runs it doesn't seem to be able to find the files again. I don't even know where to begin to try to get this working after all this.

I'm new here and waiting for other posts to be approved.
If this works, tip the devs.
This might not be the problem you face but I have installed TTW 3.2 successfully. I'm yet to do updates, try get 3.2 working first.
I followed Gamerpoet's YT tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHXIEGtP2Hw
a problem where MO2 couldn't find all the FO3 files.
This was due to installing TTW it without running FO3 successfully first (Because it doesn't run on Windows 10 in Vanilla).
I fixed it by doing;
1
Clean install of FO3 using this tutorial and installing the mods listed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTT9bkZytzI
Creating a save and subsequently .ini file
2
Installing Vegas
Creating a save and subsequently .ini file
3
Installing TTW using Program files (x86)-Steam... folders for both games as well as putting TTW into the FNV data folder
4
Launching FalloutNVlauncher.exe and setting graphical settings.
5
Using MO2 and instance of 'TTW' click 'Run' button
6
Be patient while it loads (Different 'Please Stand By') and background pic available.
Hope it helps
