Request to convert FO3 "Follower Amata" to TTW 3.x

Post by Negi Springfield » Sat Nov 23, 2019 6:10 pm

Hello there guys. Been a long-time lurker now. After recently updating from 2.X to the newer stuff, i've found the old converted version of the FO3 mod simply doesn't work right when installed. I was hoping someone here could please, please help me out with this issue. Normally I would try to contact the person that did the original 2.X conversion, but since the old threads have been disabled, I don't recall who that was.
If anyone would be willing to help me out I would greatly, greatly appreciate it.

The original mod can be found here:

Who worked on the conversion? Any specific reason? Was there something game breaking? Can I contact the person in question and ask for the file from them?

This is my favorite companion mod so I don't wanna give up that easily.

It was completely broken, not just a bug here or there. Even the 2.9.4 conversion had problems, though it was mostly playable. I looked at it after I finished Moira and I really don't see it as worth the trouble. It needs a lot of work to get it to TTW standards.

I too have been hoping someone would rework this mod. I was thinking of learning how to convert myself, but I'm clueless when it comes to modding. I would be very appreciative if someone were to want to work on this!

Honestly it would be less of a pain to just create a new one than try to convert the FO3 version. It's that much trouble.

Well if someone would be willing, I would honestly be fine with salvaging the voiced menu interactions/battle audio with a clone Amata that simply follows you around without any of the quest stuff if someone would do that. I'll take whatever I can get at this point.

I loved all the quests that came with it, they were very indepth and advanced for something that's not base game content. I can see why it would take a lot of work. Hopefully the original modder/converter comes back with renewed hope and their inside knowledge of how the mod works :)
