Re: TTW 3.2 with AWOP - No main menu text
It should not be NVSR problem unless you have configured it wrongly (Configuration was covered in faq). and I tried both NVSR and NVTF in Windows 10.

Re: TTW 3.2 with AWOP - No main menu text
i have the recommended ini for nvsr and i observed that when the game loads it behaves differently between nvsr and nvtf. with nvtf the cursor appears after the engine loads the background processes with nvsr the cursor appears sooner and sometimes the game hangs. with nvtf the main menu loading more is consistent but in game the game runs smoother with nvsr.

If NVTF works better for you then all the best (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧lazynick wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2019 3:58 pmi have the recommended ini for nvsr and i observed that when the game loads it behaves differently between nvsr and nvtf. with nvtf the cursor appears after the engine loads the background processes with nvsr the cursor appears sooner and sometimes the game hangs. with nvtf the main menu loading more is consistent but in game the game runs smoother with nvsr.

Re: TTW 3.2 with AWOP - No main menu text
The only time my main menu hangs was because of badly converted/incompatible mods, badly made patch and erroneous configuration in NVSR. I have also compared the performance between NVSR and NVTF and there isn't a big difference on the menu and ingame. Well, could be our hardware differences but I'm using a potato PC.

Re: NVSR vs NVTF
it depends on the ini settings i started messing with them and i get different results at different settings if i follow 100% the guide from the faq here on ttw i get rock solid game stable main menu but in game i have more stutters due to the fact that critical sections is off. but if i mess with some settings and enable experimental stuff my game sometimes hangs on loading or opening the pip boy but the performance is noticeably better. i wish the author of nvsr returned and patched it for windows 10.

Re: NVSR vs NVTF
I had loads of trouble with NVSR, crashes, freezes, etc. I was getting pretty despondent considering the amount of hours put into this build.
Then I switched to NVTF and voila! No more crashes or freezes, even on outdoor cells. Mind you, there is some slight stuttering, but I will gladly take that over the crashes and freezes.
