[Requests Mods] TTW

Hey, it's me again... from what I saw in my old post it seems practically impossible to make mods that make too many changes to the game... so I thought I'd ask for mods that are a little more "discreet" and more likely to be made.

FO3-WRP - Weapon Retexture Project:
I saw in an old list of mods from the previous version of ttw that was this one.

And

Some Companion Mod:
I think it would certainly be interesting some companion mods...Bittercup, Amata, Bryan Wilks...



I guess i don't have more, maybe new lands and quest but that's not much important with the moment, see you and thanks for reading.

Bryan Wilks was already converted: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6528

Rickerhk has also updated his wonderful Brisa companion: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=7622

Ties that Bind was converted too, it's quite buggy however. The Author said he'd need to rewrite most of the scripts to bring it up to TTW 3.2 standards. After looking through them, he's right. It's going to take some work. It's somewhat usable right now though: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6720

For Ties That Bind, do we know what exactly some of the issues are. I ran a playthrough of it and didn't really run into any bugs all the way past Project Purity (where you meet your dad again). The only weird thing was that she was with me in Mothership Zeta after being captured (which I didn't really mind). I want to run another play-through after going through a full reinstall and am hoping to just use that version again as he hasn't indicated when or even "if" the mod is coming back.

When I tried that version it had a habit of completely breaking the companion system and how companions would wait, be fired, and follow. The part about it not having a companion wheel and not working with JIP CCC were part of that. Companions don't have to have a companion wheel to work with JIP CCC, but if they aren't showing up in JIP then there are probably some serious problems there.

Now I have no idea why he hid the mod, but those problems might have been part of it. You'd have to ask him.

Ah, I see. That was something I noticed (Amanda wasn't part of JIP CCC, didn't have the side menu). It didn't seem to affect the other companions, but I also didn't try adding her directly to JIP CCC.

He hasn't replied back to my message about if its coming back yet, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I wish he would have put up a definitive answer as to why it was taken down, if it is coming back for sure though... Oh well.
