6/13/2021 Update to Version 3.1.1:
Brisa Almodovar TTW Edition
This mod adds a new Follower to the Fallout 3 world - Brisa Almodovar. Being Amata's cousin, and just a year older, she grew up with you and Amata in Vault 101. As events heat up for you and you are forced to leave Vault 101, you can choose to take her with you. The actions you take on the way out matter to her, though it's not difficult to meet her requirement. If for some reason she does not go with you, or you don't want anything to do with her to start off, you will get an opportunity to take her with you during MS16 (Trouble on the Home front), after resolving that quest.
You don't need to start a new game to have her as a companion. If you already have a game in progress and are level less than 15, she will be waiting in Springvale. Otherwise she will be at the sniper shack.
If you are currently in the middle of 'Escape', Raven Rock, Tranquility lane, 'Trouble on the Home Front', 'Take it Back!', or ANY of the Fallout 3 DLC's, finish it before activating this mod.
This is a full conversion for TTW 3.2.2 and later.

Been using it. Really impressed. Top tier companion mod.
Side note: you mention trying to interact with her with the wheel or directly, does this mean to not use jip's c&c hotkey commands?

Primarily follow/wait/relax/gohome/ - use her wheel or dialog.
Other stuff like hack, pick, etc shouldn't be a problem using JIP's buttons.

3.1.0 changelog
Improved 'Switch Weapon' menus now show weapon names and ammo count.
Re-organized weapon menu dialog to be more logical and less cluttered.
Added weapon script support for thrown weapons - spears, hatchets.
Improved JIP CCC compatibility to where it's seamless now:
- You no longer need to toggle off 'Manage equip' and 'auto ammo' every time you start the game.
- The JIP 'Weapon' button brings up the 'switch weapon' menu just like the wheel.
- Her name no longer changes to >Brisa< when passive, to avoid JIP icon and possibly other issues.
Added Tactics - 'Be More/Less aggressive during combat' option (dialog and wheel).
Fixed - Ambush mode now remembers the previous passive mode setting when ending.
Replaced IsSpellTarget with IsSpellTargetAlt wherever used.
Fixed texture issue with her face.
Fixed/removed 'can be all races' and regenerated Facegen files.
- Added a hotfix function to toggle this off in her NPC object in the save game.
Added 'Dismiss' feature. After 'Take It Back' you have the option to Dismiss and rehire her at will.
- If you are in the Mojave, she will dismiss to the Lucky 38 if you have it, otherwise to the Mojave Express.
- If you are in the Capital Wasteland, she will dismiss to the lab at Rivet City.
Script refactoring - replaced all Label/Goto loops with while/loop
Script refactoring - managed ammo for inactive weapons now stored in it's respective weapon locker.
Added two more options to backpack carry weight for the pack rats out there.
Light Step perk - When her Sneak is 75 or above, applies to all Companions in your party as long as she is in the party.
- this is separate from the player having Light Step.
