Crash when leaving the vault while using Quick Start

I'm using a fresh save, with a fresh install. The game starts up fine, I start in the cave, do the character creation, finish, it starts to load then crashes to desktop.

I'm using mods but they're only the ones from the recommended mods page. I used LOOT so they're in the correct order. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know these days... but LOOT was never compatible with TTW in the past.

I don't think its the load order, I disabled everything except the quick start and it still crashed. LOOT put the .esm's in the right order, I double checked with the FAQ.

Basically I just really dread the beginning of Fallout 3 but now I'm worried if I go through it it'll just crash once I leave the vault again. I'll give it a try tomorrow and see what happens but there must be something wrong with Quick Start

Disable mods until it works.
It's the basic and easier way of troubleshooting problems like this.

It's probably the CASM update, use the previous version until JIPNVSE is updated (if ever).

Well, when I have only Quick Start enabled, it still crashes. I have the latest JIP as well.
