Map markers completely broken

They're all gone except a couple random ones in the inner city, I exited out of metro central at dupont center and all of a sudden my map markers are all gone,what happened

Never heard of such a bug in the 8 years I've been playing this game. Sounds like something random.

I have the explorer perk and when I use tmm 1 nothing happens, the only other person I've seen with this problem from ttw posted their problem on reddit

This bug is quite old and super rare. It also happens in FNV without TTW.

I only remember seeing 2 or 3 people having it since FNV was released. I don't think anyone ever found the cause, but I think it might be some mod/loose files incompatibility or file corruption.
It also seems to bake into the save file and IIRC (not really sure anymore) it might even affect previous save files from before it happened the first time :shock: .
