OWB Sink Unit Still Crahsing My Game - Any Ideas?

So I know this has been fixed and I apologize for bringing it up again, but I've looked around and still can't figure out what might be causing this. Been playing TTW for about a week now and haven't had any issues, but now that I'm playing through OWB I'm dealing with that issue of the Sink CIU crashing my game on certain dialogue choices/bartering. Tried reinstalling JIP LN manually and that didn't stop the crashes. Reinstalled it using MO2 which is how I installed and launch TTW (and how I installed JIP in the first place) that still hasn't stopped it. Made sure I have the most recent JIP update and I do. And the JIP Minimap works just fine for me too (can that work without JIP being installed properly?). I even saw a post that mentioned the New Vegas Stutter Remover has fixed the issue for some people and installed that but it still crashes. Any suggestions?

Again sorry for bringing up an old topic; while I'm not necessarily new to modding I'm still no expert or anything and am kind of at a loss for what to try next. Thanks ahead of time for any input

make sure JIPNVSE is under TTW in the left pane.

Hmm, that didn't seem to help either. Although I did some more looking around online today when I had a free second at work and found another post from back in January (viewtopic.php?t=7111 ) asking about the sink crash. You had suggested using NVAC until you could pin down the problem so I went ahead and just downloaded it, figured it was worth a shot. Seems to have helped for the time being, no dialogue choices with the sink have crashed the game and I can barter and repair with it too.

Wish I'd done a few more searches before starting this thread! I guess let me know if there are any drawbacks to relying on NVAC like this and if there's anything else I should try to fix without NVAC. Either way thanks for your time, I really appreciate it.
