Start with Broken Steel

Hello there.

Is there a way to start with broken steel? I started in the Mojave, then I want to explore the Capitol wasteland as Courier 6. Would make sense to have Broken Steel like activated at once instead of having to search for a person who is not my dad.

Im asking this beacaus of RP.

Not in vanilla TTW.

TTW's lore is that Courier 6 is the child of James.

To be able to RP anything else it needs someone to make a mod for that. Just like if someone plays Fallout 3 and doesn't want to be child of James, or if someone plays Fallout New Vegas and doesn't want to be Courier 6.

I don't think anyone made a mod like that yet.

It would require messing around with quest stages and edit all the dialogue and voice files to remove any mention of James as your dad, alter Point Lookout's Punga Tree "return" sequence and remove some characters, change stuff like Three Dog's Radar Dish quest and commentaries, change Vault 112 and Tranquility Lane, change a lot of Star Paladin's Cross dialogue and why she joins the player, change how and why Project Purity is working, change Dr Li and other Rivet City characters... And the list goes on and on and on.

Well you could just ignore that and click it away. It works for me atleast.

True, but you will be missing quite a few unique stuff. Like the Energy Weapons and Medicine Bobbleheads, Autumn's Uniform, Autumn's Laser Pistol, and so on. I also think you won't be able to recruit Fawkes.
