"Altered" Armor items not showing up in Merchant repair lists.

I got a bit impatient and tried to create a couple mods... One replaces the Lucky Shades mesh with Biker Goggles and the other replaces the Ledoux's Hockey Mask Mesh with a Surgical Mask.

Everything seems to be going ok, the armor is sitting the way it should, effects are still active, you can repair them with other items...

Except, when i go to Moira or some other merchant and ask for repairs, the items do not show up on the list, no matter how damaged they are. I've gone back into Geck and FNVEdit a couple times to try and figure out why it's not working... but i'm stuck.

Any thoughts on what i might be doing wrong? is there a check box or something i missed?

I may have solved my own problem... i'm not used to DT and New Vegas's repair system. Is it because neither item has a DT?

Yep. Vendors do not repair any equipment that doesn't have DT.

hrm that might only be for vendors.

I know for a fact neither is needed for clothing for the player to repair, I tested that with glasses.

The player can repair stuff with 0 DT, but the vendors can't. It's been like that in FNV since I can remember .
