I cant buy the ticket to new Vegas the terminal needed 100 caps for the ticket to new vegas but i had 1000 caps then when i clicked to buy the ticket i didn't work the terminal just said insufficient funds what do i need to do to fix this.

You need 100 pre-war money. They weren't accepting caps before the bombs fell. :)

You can hack the terminal if you have enough skill. ;)
