Error when installing

Hello, I have recently decided to return to playing TTW and was pleasently surprised to see that it got updated to 3.2 recently. Previously I have played TTW 2.9.4 and was able to install it without problems.

Currently, when using the 3.2 installer, I get two errors saying:
"XD3_INVALID_INPUT /* invalid input/decoder error */" , "Error occured processing file: .\ThePitt.esm"

I have a clean Steam install of FO3 (non-GOTY version) and FNV, edit: both with all DLC's, ran the launcher to create the .ini's, which the TTW installer automatically recognised and have tried using the installer as administrator, but all to no avail.

I forgot to mention but yes, I have all FO3 and NV DLC.
I also checked the faq post you've linked previously and noticed that FO3 couldn't launch after I pressed start. I had to install GFWL and the 1.7 patch as recommended, checked if I could start the game, which now worked, ran the TTW installer and it still gives me the same two errors about ThePitt.esm.

Edit: Nvm, I managed to fix the issue. After another clean reinstall, verifying files and a few more greese work, apparently whatever was broken became fixed. I'd explain what fixed it if I knew it myself.

I had a similar problem, but it was because i had my Fallout 3 in another language, i switched it back to english and it worked, so if anyone has the same problem, just know that it may be your game's language, try it if you have a problem with installing TTW saying "Error occured processing file: .\ThePitt.esm"...

I'm getting that error too. It says it's "dlc04ferriswheelbase.nif. I don't think it's the point lookout.esm. it's the .bsa. I'm not going to have it install into the data folder this time though. Had a hell of a time cleaning out what the error left in the folder.
