"Nice" reaction.
Can you tell my why and not only delete my post? For me this works quite good.

For the reason I said, it's wrong, and broken.
"works for me" is not valid.
It breaks forms, overwrites dialogues and scripts in them, among a ton of other things. Basically reverting TTW back to a broken mess.
Just no.

Re: Installation of TTW for german version of Fallout: New Vegas
I'm really astonished about this intolerance. Nothing is wrong with my intend or the way to use TTW on non-english versions of Fallout New Vegas.
You know where I post this? Yes in "Suggetions: Have something to say about Tale of Two Wastelands or have an idea for a new feature? Let us know here."
You should have answered like "Thanks for your nice meant tutorial but this will destroy TTW totally, so we wont support it or will answer about this anywhere".
It is one thing to say repsonse like this and another thing to delete my whole post in an idea/suggestion/feedback thread. Why you have a forum when you dont torelate other thoughts? You don't need to share my option, just ignore it if you dont like it.
You saw my loadorder... oh no you have deleted it. There is a file called TTW-Fixes. These patch solves all (!) issues with other mods. I have worked with fnvedit and geck on it many hours. For example the conflict filter in fnvedit: Almost no red entries in ttw or yupttw. The remaining ones are ok. All scripts and dialoges works like intended. I have checked them ALL.
Even if(!) a formlist won't work 100% like intended... why should this be a big deal? Varity of life i would say.
I have an idea and a good solution (even when WIP) and you smash it because YOU said it is trash. For me that is not the case.
I have over 1000 hours of gameplay and modding sind new vegas was released and we both have talked about different issues at nexus (different username). I respect all the work you have done! I have followed you on twitter etc.
I have talked via discord with gribbleshnibit and he was very helpfull and polite about another topic. That can be an example for you.
There are other sited like nexus, gun, moddb where i can post my tutorial and work on it, have brainstorms with other modders.
My last words: You can delete my account, I dont need a community where my thoughs and me support/help gets deleted.

Mate. You're teaching people how to really break their game. And then we are the ones who have to help users with their broken game and waste time and resources to help.
And there isn't really any help we can give if people are using TTW with the German version.
Even in your guide you said it would break several things. We can't allow suggestions on how to break the game, that is why we had to hide the 2.9 mods, because they were breaking people's game.
We really can't have it, even with the best of intentions.

Re: Installation of TTW for german version of Fallout: New Vegas
I'm not teaching people to break their game. Never done this. So dont say that.
And you know what? I'm not the only one with an non-english version who wants to play Fallout 3 in Fallout NV.
Let others try and report errors because of missmatched GMST entries and so on.
This WIP guide was a first attempt for people looking for those infos. They will see: Ah I have a lot on manual work to do... ok I try it or I let it be (and wont ask in the forum). So people know what is the actual sitaution and what they could do. People will ask for help with and without my guide and have their thoughts.
You wrote about waste of time? Yes Roy deleted my guide and to think the TTW devs would appreciate or tolerate such guides was a waste of time.
You really dont know my setup and let me open your eyes: TTW works very very good with the german version of Fallout NV.
I have played so much hours with 2.8.1a and now many hours with 3.2.1. Thats my experience in the game and my work with the geck and fnvedit was very successful.
Yes out of the box it will get you in trouble but the german community have these problems with almost ANY OTHER mod.
Nothing special about TTW in this way. You dont know me and you will think "ah that type of pro-hyper-modder..." I know what i'm doing and it works very well.
Let your blinkers on, its ok for me. My game never runs better
(btw. performance in 3.2.1 is way better then in 2.8.1, thanks for that).
I don't need anything more from your direction I just wanted to give something back.
The behavior of roy is not ok, he should have hide my post and have a word with me or whatever but dont delete it. Not okay.
I take my time to do this and take my time to write this quick guide and the response of the dev team is anything else then appreciative or tolerant.
Thanks for your work on TTW.

Re: Installation of TTW for german version of Fallout: New Vegas
OK so I may have overreacted and I can apologize for upsetting you. I should have made a big warning on it instead, again apologies. I won't do it again, we all make mistakes eh?
We appreciate our members and community and I hope you can accept my apology.
The German versions of the games are inherently incompatible with TTW due to the ESMs themselves being different to all other versions. Many many formid's are different in them which cause this compatibility problem and seriously break the game.
By posting a guide someone is immediately going to try doing it, and break their game and have to reinstall it. They become angry at this, and it's not directed at you, but gets directed at us usually in our discord... this is unpleasant and they complain "then why is this guide on your forum" or "why is this mod on your forum" etc etc... I hope you can see where it's trying sometimes.

Re: Installation of TTW for german version of Fallout: New Vegas
I forgot to mention we are looking into translation using xEdit script, we unfortunately can't make bugfixes to dialogue lines as we don't speak the languages and it's too much work (English is already enough) but it is being looked into.

Thanks for your response and your apologize, I really appreciate it.
I think I know what you and Risewild wants me to say and I understand it.
It is hard to do such a project and it is understandable that you focus on and support only the most common english version.
Good to know that translation may get some attention. If my experience with non-english version is needed, just let me know.
