Cannot purchase RL3 from Tinker Joe (Old bug)

I thought this was a old issue, and turned out it was. When you speak to tinker Joe there is only 2 dialouge options:

It should be available. Is this still a known issue? I also cannot speak to rl3 as clicking it doesn't do anything.

You speak to Tinker Joe, also RL-3 is a critter like ED-E, so you cannot hire him if you have Dogmeat, Rex, or ED-E.

I tested it a few minutes ago, it works fine.

I'm having the same issue. I have neutral karma and the charisma bobblehead and tinker joe has no option for buying the robot.

Edit: I'm using the unlimited companions option in JIP CC and i had dogmeat plus jericho and clover with me. Firing all of them made the dialogue show up and i can buy him now. After buying i can rehire everyone so it seems the unlimited companions is working but you have to fire everyone to hire anyone new

Hmm strange. Maybe it's been fixed on your debugging version of ttw but not on the release. I'm not sure. It's not a big deal but I do know I'm not the only one with the problem.

There is nothing wrong with hiring RL-3 in TTW.

You're not supposed to be able to hire RL-3 if you have another critter follower. Critter followers are ED-E, Rex and Dogmeat.

I'm testing the release version right now and it works fine. If I have Dogmeat with me, the option to buy RL-3 doesn't appear, if I don't have Dogmeat with me, the option appears fine.
