MO2 Deleted Everything
No idea how this happened but I had everything set up perfectly, I thought. MO2 was installed to a secondary drive, appdata was stored in the application directory itself and not the default appdata directory. Had a mod folder filled with tons of mods and everything was working.
Rebooted my computer, opened up MO2 and it acted like a fresh install. Everything in my MO2 mods folder was deleted. WTH? Any ideas on how to stop this from happening again? That took an awfully long time to have it all gone for no apparent reason is very frustrating.

Yeah I had a similar experience after I download this mod. I think it might be a problem with the newest version.
If you can upload your specs and any additional details it might be helpful if we can piece together common details on what is causing the error.

If you created a new instance for TTW, open the instance selection in MO2 and select your original instance, which is probably New Vegas and make it active.

I ended up deleting the first instance and the game files reinstalled the game. Still had some activation issues with the mod folder selection but was able to resolve it with editing permission on windows 10.

Is your game installed in program files? Did you do something like put MO2 or the instance in the game folder?
Check that you did not do these things.

Hey Roy, not sure if that was directed at Nabizzles or myself but I have mine in program files(x86) and seems to work fine.

Re: MO2 Deleted Everything
It is not recommended to install the game or MO2 into program files due to Windows 10 overbearing security restrictions on that folder.

I know I just changed around my security permissions in windows. I don't like Microsoft telling me what I can or can't do so the rebel in me comes out a little there.

Install Mod Organizer into something like C:/Games
Furthermore I made the experience that I always need to run Mod Organizer as Administrator. Just go into properties and select run as administrator for the exe.
Without this I have all kinds of glitches like the one you mentioned and it can't access my inis, enable archive invalidation, etc.
I have the security settings in Microsoft put to the lowest too but unlike Win7, it still has some basic access. Meh. I think the only way to change this was to use the inbuilt Super-Admin Root account but this is extremely unsafe and not recommended.

I installed it this way on my laptop but for my desktop I've left it as is for the time being. I'll compare/contrast and see if I get different results.
