Hi, new TTW user, excited to play the game. Looked through the forum for this issue but couldn't find any references.
Purged all remnants of the old FO3/FNV installs in documents, localapps, etc. Dowloaded new from steam.
Ran the TTW .exe and waited for the decompression. No other mods installed. Just TTW.
I Have an Ultra Wide Monitor 21:9 - I added lines in the FalloutCustom.ini to change display settings to:
[Display]
fDefaultFOV=95
iSize W=3440
[RenderedTerminal]
fRenderedTerminalZoom=75
And everything looks great, but I can't click on the pages of the baby book to choose my S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
So I took those lines out and played with the ugly black bars on either side.
Is there a workaround?
If I remove the .ini edits just for the baby book, and then add them back in to game in utra wide afterward, will other terminals break?
After removing the .ini edits and continuing to play I found another issue:
After moving on in the intro, at the scene before the G.O.A.T. test, my hair reverts to the default.
I'm playing a female, and at the birth scene I chose Wendy the Welder hair, but it didn't appear at the G.O.A.T. scene.
Tried using showbarbermenu in the console, and it opened, but won't let me switch hairs.
Dad's voice crackles when he's excited at the birth scene like I was running cheap speakers.
Thanks for the the mod and for any advice.

You can use my mod FOV Slider to change the FOVs in game.
Dad's voice shouldn't crackle, check the FAQ.
No idea about the hair.

Thanks for the quick reply, really appreciate how quick you are to support your mods.
FOV Slider is a must have, thank you for that.
After further poking and prodding...
The setting that borks the baby book is:
[Display]
iSize W=3440
Anything above the max 2560 resolution available on the launcher screws it up. Never had a problem in New Vegas.
If I keep the resolution at 2560 for the baby book and then raise it later everything works so far. If I run into another terminal that gets borked I'll just remove the setting again. Gotta have my ultra-wide.
As far as the audio crackling, I did have the recomended settings listed in the faq, but still got crackles.
This fixed it: True 3D Sound for Headphones (HRTF mod) v1.31 https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65094
But you have to change the setting in alsoft.ini from sources=256 to sources=1024. Or you'll get missing sound effects.
But the hair I can't figure out. I tried several clean installs, no mods, no tweaks. And nothing works. The hair is visible in chargen menu and in the showbarbermenu console command, so it's not a missing mesh or texture, it just won't change my character's hair from the default... and of course the default has to be the uglies fuggin hair available. Gonna try adding Mikoto see if modhair works. Would appreciate any advice on that front tho.

I'm glad that FOV Slider works for you.
Strange, I've never had an issue with crackling since the re-encode was added, I guess the audio engine changes are still somewhat incompatible no matter what we do.
I really have no idea about the hair thing at all.

Lol. I'm an idjit who hadn't played FO3 in years.
Hairs selected at chargen are applied when you leave the vault. Not before.
As soon as I left he vault I got my good hair.
...for anyone else wondering.

Anyone else tried Mikotos mods with success?
