His other awesome signs (Robco, Vault-Tec, Statesman, and Super-Duper Mart) don't require conversion because they are mesh-replacer only; they use static collections so the letters are functionally one block for the sign. This one has an esp because for Hubris, each letter is separate and must be disabled.
