Sawed off shotgun - no firing sound

Been having this problem with the DC sawed off shotgun, no sound plays when I fire it, though I do hear the bullet impact sounds and such. On further testing, it seems I can hear it when npcs fire it, but if I pick up the same weapon and try its back to no firing sound.

I've removed any weapon sound mod I had loaded, and checked in xedit that there are no conflicts with this weapon. This is the only weapon ive encountered since upgrading ttw that has this weird problem.

Any advice on where to begin troubleshooting this?

I'll get this fixed, it's odd. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, very strange.

It's fixed. You can fix it to, copy the reload sound to an override esp, and 0 out the loop points.

How would I go about doing this? I don't have much experience creating mods but I have have done some basic things in the past in the geck. Or is there a mod I can download? Thanks.

Ive run into this issue with the latest build of TTW, how exactly should I fix it using FNVedit? Would i break anything by just using the NV sawed off sound? im not very versed with xedit

Find the firing sound for it, and set the start/end times to 0

I have copied the sounds from Fallout NV to TTW and overrid them. I have also zeroed the start and end of the sound. Yet, sawed off shotgun still has no sound. What am I doing wrong?
