Roy Batty,
If you see this I don't mind working on Project Beauty/Redesigned 3 if its lower on your work roster, but need some help in the extent of conversion needed. Would a conversion be simply converted Project Beauty then merging? If not what else is needed?
This does bring up a question of permissions. Does a mods authors general permission to convert and upload extend to any user or is it on person to person basis? Additionally, I don't know how this relates to past permissions granted.
Moria Craterside enterprises was previously converted/tweaked and then uploaded. I converted this mod myself in the past for personal use (without script tweaks) and was wondering if I could do it again based on past permissions granted to the previous uploader and then use previous converters script changes via a transfer from old file new. (I am crude with GECK, would try via FNVedit, and don't really know if this is even possible)
If I am not allowed to upload without the author's direct permission, then would the above work with TTW 3.2? (FNVedit drag and copy) Also, I understand some questions are best left unanswered/unasked and so I will drop the discussion of permission if not addressed and default to direct permission.
I hope you excuse my near total ignorance here, but I would like to be useful in adding more mods. I am somewhat familiar with FNVedit and so I just want to figure out the scope of either of these projects. Another mod I would like to convert is Vault 101 revisited. Simple as running scripts? I just don't want to upload a broken mod due to my own ignorance of scripts and internal mechanics.
Best,
KingofMice

Re: Conversion Help and Past Permission
I'm getting out update ready and have been fixing issues in my other conversions (AWOP and Regulators), I have TTW Redesigned about 1/2 done. I have exclusive permission from Dracomies for this particular one, and Qwinn will do patches for RD3.
As far as inheriting permissions for stuff not directly given by the authors, I'm not really comfortable with that. You can of course seek permission yourself.
That said, no it's just running the xEdit scripts (also you need an up to date version of xEdit from github) in order to convert mods as I have found many issues with this. Plugins need to also be updated and have their form versions updated where needed. I'll be working on a guide for this with Gamer Poets and some kind of written one too for more experienced authors as a reference. Scripts and Navmeshes also need work, or they will make the game break or be unstable.

Re: Conversion Help and Past Permission
Ah well thanks, when I have time I will try to dig up some of the info out there on converting. I have no scripting knowledge and that's really my big hurdle. Otherwise, I would take a crack at learning how to navmesh etc.
Thanks for the quick response

Looking forward to seeing this come out
