Can i play Just New Vegas, even if TTW is installed?

Reason i ask this, is because i completely udnerstand New California not working with TTW, but i still want to play and enjoy FO3, so i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. If possible, i hope i can have a TTW side, and a just FNV side, but unsure if that is actually able to work. Anyone know if this is possible?

When the update is out, you can again choose to start in New Vegas.

that... doesn't really answer my question. is there a way to start JUST FNV with TTW, no FO3, and have a modded FNV at all just by itself on the side, but still play TTW at some point on another side?

No. You can't have TTW and still have only FNV.
This project is a total conversion, which means it alters the entire FNV game.

I guess you could use Mod Organizer or Mod Organizer 2 and have a FNV game profile and a TTW game profile. But I don't use MO or MO2, so I don't know if that would work or how to make that happen.

I misunderstood what you meant then, yes you can if you use a mod manager as Risewild has described.
