Hey guys! I hope all is well. I am new to the modding community and I am a HUGE fallout fan. I was always a console player and have just moved over to the wonders of PC. I want to replay F3 and NV from scratch again with ToTW. I was wondering which mods to use with the new 3.2 ToTW mod. I want the best in game experience possible ! I am not looking for mods that will cheat the game. I just want an awesome quality of playtime. Which load order would I use with mods everyone recommends with ToTW?
Also, what modding platform does everyone recommend? I have never modded before in my life so this is all foreign to me. Thanks so much for your guys help ahead of time!

Re: New to Modding
First of all, welcome!
Tales of Two Wastelands has been in development for years and has just received a major update (3.2) recently. Aside from UI, texture replacers or a few quality of life changes, many addons have yet to be patched and converted to work alongside TTW. This forum has an entire subsection dedicated to this endeavor, right here:

Now, it's hard to provide a "true experience" without first defining what you mean by that, after all, different people have different preferences. If you meant something akin to a hardcore survival playthrough, full of immersion and "roleplayability" then, from what we have right now, I can suggest Roy's take on Jsawyer's mod. Do keep in mind that Roy altered the level cap and removed the weight restrictions that were present in the original:

My second suggestion would be BLEED, also tweaked and converted by Roy. This mod overhauls the damage and damage over time (DoT) in the game to make it deadlier and more interesting. In the vanilla game, you'll find that there's a heavy preference for certain types of weapons, it is a biased system that doesn't really allow people to play their way unless they're into those specifically. This mod also changes that, making all weapons and combat styles viable and enjoyable in their own way.

If you're like me, you'll find that the housing options in both wastelands are a tad limited and uninteresting. How's a mobile truck base for you? Converted by Pintocat, it's a portable home with nearly everything you need and the ability to ride yourself to most towns and villages. It's preferable to having to go back to a very specific place just to get a proper rest and dump our inventory. Also, what if the conditions necessary to acquire said home in town don't match your character's personality or intentions? This solves that.

Finally, I suggest Realistic Wasteland Lighting. The original games have an abhorrent grey/brown tint to them that makes them an eyesore. Created and maintained by Camo, this mod aims to fix that. While ENBs are considered the superior visual enhancement combined with texture replacers, both can be heavy on your PC and results aren't always guaranteed to be similar to the one's in the pictures. RWL improves the visual aspect of the game with virtually no performance loss.

To conclude, always make sure to read the OP's main post or even the original from the nexus to see if there's any dependency or compatibility issues. It's not the case here but just a forethought. Also, should you use Roy's Jsawyer combined with BLEED, it is suggested to crank your difficulty to "Very Hard" with Hardcore mode on, the game will be more difficult but also more interesting IMO.

IvoryOwl! Thanks for the quick response! Is it possible to play the game at a harder setting without the water, hunger, and sleep?
