TTW works with Vortex too

Maybe other people are interested.

Because i couldn't get MO2 to run properly, i tried running TTW with several mods (both TTW specific mods and NV mods (bounty hunter series for example)) with Vortex. After a little trial and error, everything runs quite smoothly for me. I've spent some time in the Capital Wasteland and have now moved on to the Mojave. Without any issues so far. So, while other mod managers are not supported, i can confirm that Vortex seems to work quite well (at least it does for me).

What i did was install TTW in my NW folder (unmodded), loaded up Vortex after that and plugged the mods in last.

I did basically the same thing and so far it seems to be working fine. Just takes a little bit of getting familiar with it. It does take a little bit of work though if you want to modify your load order. Everything seems to be done with rules. You just don't grab a plugin and move it up or down like FOMM. Not sure how it's done in MO or MO2 since I never used either of those utilities.

Hi. So far it's been working for me in the beginning as well. Do you know if the FalloutCustom.ini is loaded automatically? I know in MO2 you had to add the ini seeting to a profile for MO2, but I'd imagine if one isn't managing multiple profiles in Vortex, this wouldn't be an issue.

Well FalloutCustom.ini shows up in my documents/games/FalloutNV folder. Is that what you were asking about?

It works as far as we know, Grib tested it. I dunno how Vortex works so I can't comment on how ini and profiles are handled.

I don't have a single problem with MO2 and personally think its superior to Vortex but guess it is also preference.

Can try to assist if someone can't get it to run with MO2. Have a long experience with Mod Organizer in general. But seriously, I didn't have to do any special tweaks to get it working. Works just like with a normal modded game.
