Also I watched GamerPoets performance video but a few things weren't clear. Strictly vanilla, is NVSR and NVAC recommended along with ENBoost as his video says? Thanks team

Question about 3.2 and XP reduction?
Hi for some reason I couldn't remember my log-in or it got deleted :/ anywho, does vanilla (no mod installer, going straight to data folder) use a XP reduction system? in 2.9 I would always skip the plugin and just use a -50% reduction mod right off the bat. I find the leveling to be way, way to fast in 3/nv and there's no way I'll get close to completing all DLC without ca[ping at 50 halfway thru :/

NVAC and NVSR is still recommended, although NVAC is only really needed when in Vegas.
There is temp optionals with the XP plugin in the mod releases, it does flat 50%.

Thank you roy as always
Last question if you may, Im not using a mod manager because Im goin to go strick vanilla. This is an esp so can I justdrop it in my data folder and activate it using new vegas launcher? i think ttw automaticlly sorts my load order correct so this will be the only other esp I'm using. I shouldnt need to use LOOT, just check every box right?

drop in the data folder, create a blank text file and name it TTW_XPReduction.nam and you are good to go.

Woah so is this a new way to activate mods now? I've never heard of dropping and renaming the extension to .nam
I'll give it a try, thanks Roy
so no need to activate via launcher?
I'll give it a try, thanks Roy

The .nam files force the game to load the plugins with the same name.
They were used by Obsidian to load the crap packs. That is why, if you didn't delete the .nam files, even if you didn't activate the crap packs plugins, the game would still give them to you.

Awesome thank you both. I know I'm getting annoying lol. I just did a fresh install of Windows even for this. After renaming it to .nam do I need to sort my load order with loot? This will be the only plugin I'm using. Wanna see what you've guys done after 3 years vanilla wise
And that'll be my final question, feel free to lock the topic after
*edit* ooh I almost messed up due to my lack of reading lol. Drop the esp into the game, then create a text file saving it as "all files" the same name with .nam extension.
I also noticed on my test machine all of my esps in New Vegas launcher are unchecked, is this normal? Do I need to check them or is that what .nam is for?

I know this is an old post but can someone tell me how can I reduce my xp gain to 1/4 with Stewie's tweaks?
