Everything appears to be working fine but the damage is really low , even on very hard, in fact I dont even notice a change. Its sponge city.

Damage is low! Not enough. It takes 30 seconds of multiple enemies continuously shooting me to die. I started a new game using your tutorial skipper so I probably won’t be chirping about inconsequential issues anymore.
It was mainly fear of having to replay the tutorial.
The issue appears to have cleared up with a new game!
