Game setting tuner

Post by Boschpiper » Sat Nov 17, 2018 11:56 am

Greetings

Just checking if anyone has an idea whether this mod is compatible with TTW 3.2, or whether its worth using.
Its called Game Settings Tuner: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39157?tab=files

Thanks in advance

I would like to know as well. With the right settings this mod alone could very well replace Project Nevada for me.
The only thing that's missing from the list is the ability to tweak basic needs, can't alter timescale without those...

Nothing wrong with it, just don't change the timescale from default.

Oh and it probably wont affect DC loot percentages.

Oh, that's fine. Its really more for the level cap and such for me. I'd rather use smaller mods like these to build a more custom overhaul than PN, for compatibility and customisation sake.

Thank you again.

I strongly advise against using that mod. For me, it caused time in the game to become corrupted, which ruined NPC packages and weathers.

Did you change the timescale or chose a preset that did that for you?
The mod seems safe just avoid that particular setting and you will be fine, you could even disable it just to be on the safer side.

Nope, didn't touch any of the settings. I enabled the mod, then when I used the wait menu, everything went to shit.

Majin was right. Fast-traveling, waiting, maybe even sleeping, causes the game's clock to go absolutely bonkers. This will obviously break a bunch of stuff so stay clear of this mod for now.

We could wait for a fix but given it hasn't been updated since 2011 that seems unlikely... unless someone patches it themselves. I know PN does something similar but I couldn't careless about half of the stuff that comes with it. All I want is to able to tweak my game's settings as I please, does anyone know of a similar add-on that doesn't mess the game?
