It doesn't strictly require TTW, though I intend to provide patches and support for things that don't work out of the box.
I originally made it a year ago, between New California and TTW I've started modding for Fallout: New Vegas again.
I just released an update to turn it into something a bit more professional and user friendly. It isn't really meant to add new perks in, but to provide compatibility and a framework for modders that wish to do so. I've included functionality that I feel would've been included had Big Guns continued to be a thing, like subtypes. It should work for most other mods out of the box, and I've included debug options incase something doesn't, though I intend to patch anything that is brought to my attention.

Re: Big Guns - Framework and Automatic Compatibility
It's not needed, I have plans to do this myself. We chose not to integrate it. And we need more weapons to fill out the weapon tiers to avoid messing up the weapon balance, in due time.

Re: Big Guns - Framework and Automatic Compatibility
That's good to know.
Even after you guys work something out I plan on continuing to support this, either as a way to provide automatic compatibility or more complex perk choices.
In the mean time, with Classic Fallout Weapons and Dead Money I feel there is a decent spread of weapons available throughout all tiers.
Just to whip up a quick list (with all DLCs and CFW):
At skill 25; Dead Money's Automatic Rifle, Classic Fallout Weapon's Lewis and Bren Guns, and the Incinerator.
At skill 50; GRA's Bozar and Cleansing Flame, CFW's M60 and M249, and the Flamer.
At skill 75; LR's Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun and Arc Welder, OWB's K9000 and FIDO, CFW's RPG-7, and the Light Machine Gun, Anti-Material Rifle, Grenade Machine Gun, Missile Launcher, Annabelle.
At skill 100; LR's Red Glare, CFW's MEC Gauss Minigun, Vindicator, Browning M2, and L30 Gatling, and the Minigun, Avenger, Gatling, Plasma Caster, Fatman, Mercy, and Heavy Incinerator.
Looking at it now, it's definitely shifted towards end-game, but I'm still open to tweaking the balance a bit.

That's cool.
Please don't support CFW, that mod is horrible broken and will break TTW.

Re: Big Guns - Framework and Automatic Compatibility
Really? Why?
I'm not opposed to taking a look at it and seeing if I can patch it. I haven't gotten around to installing the latest version of TTW yet, otherwise I probably would've started with that. I'd guess all the formlists and leveled item changes.

They way they did the leveled lists is completely wrong and broken.
